Ben works as a Records Clerk in the Lancaster County Courthouse, but his passions are in the arts. He studied vocal performance at Union College and has  been in and out of stage productions since his very first role as Winthrop Paroo (The Music Man) when he was 10 years old.

A few of his absolute favorite roles include Max Detweiler in The Sound of Music, The Wolf/Rapunzel's Prince/Florinda/Milky White in Into the Woods, and Barry Wheeler in Tony n' Tina's Wedding.

Most recently Ben has been busy as Fantastical Cosplay, creating intricate costumes for conventions and cosplaying competitively. At the end of last year, he hosted a cosplay workshop class dedicated to introducing the art of cosplay to people who wanted to know more about the art form. “I am beyond excited and overjoyed to bring my craft to the Wands and Whimsy team!”

Outside of his cosplay and performance life, Ben also enjoys drinking coffee, graphic design, playing the piano, drinking some more coffee, watching anime, and drawing...oh, did he mention coffee?

Ben is no novice when it comes to children’s entertainment. He was previously a part of the children's pop band The Mighty Magic Pants as Buccaneer Ben, going to different school functions and family fairs performing goofy songs like "Who's Shoe Has Got a Skunk In It?" and "Love Is My Superhero Soundtrack." “Interacting with the kids, teaching the motions of the songs, and bringing smiles and laughter was such a joy!”
